WORLD PERSONNEL SERVICES INC. was founded in 1996. The owner and CEO, Rob Aubin recognized that the recruiting needs of employers in the IT field were not being met by the agencies in the Toronto area. Mr. Aubin, along with three senior principals (each having worked over 20 years as specialist recruiters) founded World Personnel with the mandate that services would be developed through long term trusting relationships with you our clients. Since start up, this focus has not changed. As the agency has grown, we employ only the best people complemented by a systematic training program. World Personnel Services focus in the Information Technology field. As our mandate dictates, the focus of each recruiter flexes to meet their client needs. Our clients have required a number of positions in the finance and administration fields and therefore we have expanded our database and industry knowledge to meet these needs. Our key clients are manufacturers, financial institutions, as well as software development and telecommunications consulting companies. We recruit for permanent and contract positions. World Personnel Services currently employs approximately fifteen external contractors. Mr. Aubin is backed by a strong team of recruiters at World Personnel Services and he is confident that World Personnel Services will meet your needs in whatever area your recruiting needs take you.

PERSONALIZED SERVICE

WORLD PERSONNEL SERVICES INC. is a full service employment agency. We have thirteen recruiters on staff including five senior consultants who are the backbone to our business. All consultants new to World Personnel Services attend a two week formal training session followed by a mentorship program monitoring their performance. Consultants must demonstrate consistent and efficient services before working independently with candidates or clients. Our agency is proud of our staff and ensures ongoing quality of service through systematic hiring, training and performance management.

The senior consultants bring over seventy-five years experience in the recruitment field between them. Through this experience, they have developed an extensive network within the IT field as well as technical knowledge of the industry. Our consultants are encouraged to specialize in areas of Information Technology and this further promotes the expertise specialization brings. World Personnel Services will get to know your organization and your recruiting needs and through this personalized service save you and your management valuable time.

CANDIDATES

We find candidates through a variety of methods. The largest single source of candidates sent to you (we estimate 75%) is through referrals. Because our consultants have such a strong network of clients, if we don’t know the right candidates for a position, we can usually find them by referral. The second source is our database. We maintain a sophisticated database of applicants who are not actively looking but have asked us to be their eyes and ears to the market incase the perfect opportunity should arise. Should either of these methods not prove fruitful, we will conduct an active search (or headhunt) on your behalf. World Personnel Services clients often tell us where they would like a certain candidate to come from. Depending on the urgency of our client’s request, we can pull all agency resources to work exclusively to make sure suitable candidates are found for you. It is important to point out that our agency does not recruit from our clients. When we agree to enter a relationship with an employer, our consultants can not under any circumstance take candidates from that company.

All candidates are interviewed, pre screened, and matched to your requirements before their resumes are sent to you. World Personnel Services will administer any testing you require should this service be beneficial to you. Through our interviews with candidates, we qualify their knowledge and skill background; the candidates’ role and responsibilities in different positions or projects; their reasons for leaving previous jobs; their career goals; compensation requirements; geographic restrictions; and desire to work with your company. World Personnel Services acts as your company representative encouraging potentially good candidates to join your team.

World Personnel Services conducts detailed reference checks which are completed according to the process required by our clients. The standard practice is to contact three people who supervised the candidate in the past. Details of the position; roles and responsibilities; and reasons for leaving the positions are confirmed. We then clarify the demonstrated skills, knowledge and behaviors of the candidate. These reference checks are typed and presented to you in hard copy. This process is flexible dependant on your needs.

World Personnel Services will coordinate your interview process with our candidates saving you time and frustration. We will act as an independent third party throughout the process relaying both positive and negative feedback to candidates. World Personnel Services will mediate the offer process to ensure last minute surprises such as counter offers or unexpected requirements do not negatively impact the hiring process.
